Design and Construction of Two-Story School building facade. An extension to a main historical building of the school has built in the west part of the site. The project is designing a south facade of the extension building in accordance to already existing east facade. It is important that the new facade follows the material and colors of east facade but also features an expressive facade that gives it a distinctive looks to the south where the building face the main street.

The design aims to create a welcoming atmosphere, emphasizing human scale, and facilitating communication. During first visits while I was drawing quick sketches on location for the facade design, I realized that It is important for the school to engage with the community through the extension building which faced the street. The welcoming facade manages to both greet passersby and protect the private interior spaces from prying eyes.

The design used random size variations of beige and orange travertine. The two big orange travertine frame extruded from the facade to express the windows looking to the street and divide the facade to emphasize on horizontal direction.
